It’s everyone’s responsibility to share the roads
Every year, numerous injuries and deaths are caused by crashes involving drivers, bicyclists, and pedestrians. To help prevent such collisions, everyone should pay attention when they’re on the road and be respectful toward one another.
Keep in mind that in most states, bicyclists have many of the same rights and responsibilities as motorists, including the right to ride in the traffic lane except on restricted roads. And drivers and bicyclists should keep an eye out for distracted pedestrians, as more people are using electronic devices on the go.
